Scammers posing as representatives of our Planning and Zoning team are sending fraudulent email messages seeking payment for approved applications. All fees due to the City of Mesa for licenses, permits, and development applications are paid through the DIMES ePermit online portal or in person at a Mesa facility. Connectors - Our largest volunteer program! Connectors perform many services for the community and provide support for our crews.
Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) - Members are trained to assist their community or workplace following an emergency event.
Business Education Safety Training (BEST) - Volunteers visit low-hazard businesses to help identify fire and safety hazards to help keep the public safe.
Home Safety Education (HSE) - Volunteers visit people in their homes and provide safety suggestions to help with fall prevention, fire safety planning, smoke alarm checks, and grab bar installations.

Hydrant Painting - This program has been discontinued. Fire hydrants are maintained on a regular schedule by the City's Water Department. If you are aware of a specific hydrant in need of maintenance or painting, please email: Water.Info@mesaaz.gov.
