Mesa City Council has issued a Notice of Intent to adjust utility rates, beginning a 60-day period for feedback on the proposed rates and impacts.
February is Love My Park Month in Mesa! The best way to appreciate your city’s parks is to plant a tree with the community. Join Mesa, Arizona Sustainability Alliance Tree Stewards, and neighbors to plant up to 100 trees at Sherwood Park.
Volunteers will be working to beautify the park and expand tree canopy cover by adding desert-adapted and desert-native shade trees. Ensuring equitable tree cover throughout every neighborhood can help minimize the social inequities that impact marginalized communities.
You'll also have a chance for a sneak peek at M.O.R.E. (Mesa Outdoor Recreation Experience), the new mobile nature unit of the Mesa Parks and Recreation team.
