Inflatable Permit
Inflatables are permitted in parks with a ramada reservation. Fees vary based on size of ramada and length of rental. To get a permit approved, permit holders must send required insurance information to parksresreg@mesaaz.gov.
Insurance Requirements:
- The certificate of Liability Insurance must have the company listed as the insured organization.
- Each Occurrence must be at least $1,000,00 and General Aggregate must be at least $2,000,000.
- City of Mesa Parks and Recreation must be listed on as additional insured in the description or in the certificate holder section of the insurance. This information must be present: City of Mesa; Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities Department; PO Box 1466, Mail Stop 7010; Mesa, AZ 85211
Beer & Wine Permit
Alcohol permits may be purchased in conjunction with a ramada or sports complex reservation. They are available to both resident and non-resident permit-holders for a $30 fee. In addition, the following rules must be followed:
- Must be 21 or older to purchase. Age verification is required before a permit will be granted.
- All alcohol permits must be requested by the reservation-holder.
- Only beer and wine are permitted.
- Alcohol is only permitted when in aluminum cans, boxes, and non-glass cups. Bottles, glass containers, and kegs are NOT permitted.
- Alcohol may only be served and consumed under the reserved ramada or within the fenced areas of the sports complex. Alcohol is NOT permitted on playgrounds, courts, or other areas of the park.
- The reservation-holder must remain onsite during the entire reservation time.
- Alcohol permits expire at the conclusion of the reservation time.
Permits are sold Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. If it is your first time purchasing an alcohol permit, the transaction must be completed in-person by the reservation-holder at the Parks Office located at 708 W. Baseline Road, Building 4, Mesa, AZ 85210. Subsequent alcohol permits may be purchased by telephone during business hours.
Food Trucks/Catering
Food Trucks or catering are permitted in parks with a ramada reservation. Fees vary based on size of ramada and length of rental. To get a permit approved, permit holders must send required insurance information and the following to parksresreg@mesaaz.gov.
1. Company Name.
2. Proof of insurance with City of Mesa listed as additionally insured.
3. Copy of contract.
4. Payment of $10 per food truck.
Deadline for submission is 5:30 PM the Wednesday prior to the event. No money exchanges are allowed on park property. There MUST be “Private Event Only” signage posted around the truck/event. Truck cannot drive on to park turf or sidewalks, MUST remain legally parked in parking lot.

Other Permits
