Additional Features
Located at the park, you’ll find what has been measured as the largest Sweet Acacia in Arizona on record. A small plaque can be found near the tree showing that it has been awarded a ‘Magnificent Tree’ designation in December of 2022. Arizona's Magnificent Trees Program defines trees in our state that simply stand apart from the rest. The program connects us to trees, increases awareness of the field of forestry and urban forestry and encourages people to pay attention to trees as critical ecosystem species.
The Mesa Express Library at Brady Park is a one-of-a-kind self-service library outfitted with Expanded Access technology to enable patrons to access the facility using their library barcode and PIN.
