We have become aware of fraudulent advertisements circulating for craft vendor fairs at Riverview Park. Before registering or sending payment for any event hosted at Riverview Park, please verify that the event is officially permitted through the City of Mesa Special Events Office at 480-644-3500 or SpecialEvents@mesaaz.gov.
Water Conservation staff works closely with Mesa Public Schools to educate students about water issues in Arizona. Mesa Public Schools presents water-related curriculum to students in the first and fourth grades that includes concepts on water resources, water treatment, water conservation, and the importance of making responsible decisions relating to water use.
Mesa also sponsors an optional performance of a Zoner & Drip Puppet show, presented by the Great Arizona Puppet Theater, that helps to reinforce the lessons.
Discover the Waters of Arizona is a great booklet produced by Project WET (Water Education for Teachers). This booklet is for upper elementary levels and we have quantities available while supplies last
Don't forget to visit our Kids and Teachers pages on our Water - Use It Wisely site. We offer kids tips, teacher resources, activities, and games that teach about water, too.
Thank you for taking a moment to complete a short survey.
