Drug Take Back Event

The Mesa Police Department is joining communities across the country in hosting a Drug Takeback at multiple Mesa locations as part of the National Drug Take Back Day.

Accepted medications include tablets and capsules, patches, ointments and other solid forms of prescription drugs, liquid medicine in its original container, and pet prescriptions.

Non-accepted medications/items include syringes or sharps, illicit drugs, aerosols (including inhalers), thermometers, hydrogen peroxide, and rubbing alcohol.

If you can't attend this event, certain medications are also accepted in MedReturn boxes in our police station lobbies.
