Bring your neighbors together to share ideas, find a location, and work collaboratively to host a gathering that is unique to your neighborhood. 

1. Complete the America250: Neighborhood Celebration pledge form with the gathering details and request a Party in a Box.
   
   
2. Host your neighborhood gathering!
   
   
3. Complete the Photo Submission Form with photos featuring you and your neighbors at the gathering.

By taking the America250: Neighborhood Celebration pledge, hosting a neighborhood gathering in 2026, and completing the Photo Submission Form, your neighborhood is entered into a drawing to win $250.

What is "Party in a Box"

Party in a Box is a ready-to-go kit with America250 celebration essentials to help make your neighborhood gathering fun and easy! Inside, you will find commonly used party items, such as invitations, lawn games, balloon supplies, and more! The Party in a Box are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, with pick-up and drop-off offered Monday – Thursday, between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, subject to staff and item availability.

Requirements

• Must be a Mesa resident. 
• Party in a Box items must be used within the City of Mesa for the purposes of participating in the America250: Neighborhood Celebration. 
• Maximum reservation duration is 1 week before and after the gathering. 

Designate a contact

Designated contact assumes responsibility for:

• Pick-up and return of Party in a Box items. 
• Ensuring items are returned in good, clean condition.
