Fire Station 224 is under construction at 80th Street and Elliot Road. The new station will enhance emergency response in southeast Mesa and support the growing community.

Anticipated Construction Timeline: Summer 2025 – Fall 2026

Summer 2025 – Site preparation and utilities
Fall/Winter 2025 – Building erection
Spring–Fall 2026 – Systems, finishes, interior work

A groundbreaking was held on September 3, 2025.
