The Mesa Police Department offers college students the opportunity to be exposed to various areas of the Department and work with highly trained police officers, detectives and professional staff. Interns will receive hands-on training and exposure in areas such as Criminal Investigations, Forensics, Technology, Communications, Community Outreach, and so much more. An internship at the Mesa Police Department will be both rewarding and educational, allowing students to be part of the day-to-day operations of Mesa PD and opening the door to a future career in law enforcement.

Applications for Summer to Fall internships will be accepted and processed at the beginning of Spring semester. Winter to Spring internships will be accepted and processed at the beginning of Fall semester. Internships are typically six months and hours are dependent on course; if accommodations are needed, they will be case by case.
