Updated guidelines for City Council meetings (effective June 1, 2026)We are introducing updates to support a safe, fair and respectful environment at City Hall public meetings. For “Items from Citizens Present,” up to three speakers will be selected at random from all requests submitted prior to the meeting. Attendees may bring one handheld sign no larger than 12″×18″. Basic attire is required, and activities such as solicitation and leafletting are not permitted inside City Hall or near entrances to maintain clear and accessible pathways. Individuals wishing to present physical materials during comments on an agendized item must submit those materials to the City Clerk’s Office at least one business day in advance.
