All Design Review Board meetings are open to the public. The public is invited and welcome to attend the meetings in person, via a video conferencing platform (mesa11.zoom.us/j/84758854558) or by calling 888-788-0099 or 877-853-5247 (toll free) using meeting ID 847 5885 4558 (please follow the prompts). 

Meeting Decorum
All persons attending the Design Review Board meeting are asked to observe the rules of politeness, propriety, decorum, and good conduct. Anyone disrupting the meeting will be asked to leave or will be removed and may not be allowed to return.

Board Members

The Design Review Board is composed of seven members who are residents of Mesa, and who volunteer their services. The Design Review Board is unique in that its composition is set by the Zoning Ordinance to include two architects, two from other design professions (i.e. landscape architecture, engineering, urban planning, interior design or other design-related background), one contractor or developer, and two citizens. The Mayor, with the approval of the City Council, appoints the members of the Board.

Mesa's Design Review Board (DRB) is responsible for evaluating and providing feedback on the design of new development projects to ensure they align with the city’s aesthetic, architectural, and community standards. The Board reviews various types of projects, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, to promote quality design, preserve neighborhood character, and enhance the overall visual appeal of Mesa.
