Healthy Giving

Mesa-Healthy-Giving-SMALL.png

Mesa is committed to promoting lasting solutions for people experiencing homelessness. Instead of giving money or goods directly in public spaces, community members are encouraged to support established community programs or nonprofits that connect individuals to shelter, housing, case management, and other long-term services.

Safe Practices

CITY PARKS - Give Thoughtfully. Give Responsibly.
Your generosity makes a difference. When providing food, clothing, or other items to people in need, please be mindful of where you give.

City Code restricts the distribution or leaving of donated items in Mesa parks, and organized food distribution may require a permit.

Choosing an appropriate location helps keep our parks welcoming for everyone.
