Summer Electric Assistance (SEA) Program

SEA is a residential utility assistance program for income-qualified customers residing in Mesa’s Electric Service Area and receiving electric service from us (not SRP). SEA provides Mesa electric utility customers with limited short-term assistance for their electric bills during the summer months of July, August, and September. SRP customers please visit srpnet.com.

SEA eliminates Mesa’s monthly service charge and usage charge for the first 80 kilowatt hours. SEA participants can expect to save about $23.50 on July, August and September monthly bills. Full participation could result in total savings of about $70.00. Actual savings depend on submission and approval dates and the total number of kWh consumed each month.

Yes. You will need to reapply for the program so your income can be re-verified. You should receive a new application form in the mail that you will need to complete, sign, and send back to us with the requested income verification documentation.

I am not a City of Mesa electric customer. Can I still qualify for the program?
