Dear City of Mesa Irrigation Customers:
As you may be aware, normal irrigation services were disrupted this week due to unexpected staff shortages related to COVID-19. Beginning at 6 am on Thursday, July 9 and continuing through Friday, July 10, the Water Resources Department will begin delivering water to the properties that should receive irrigation this week. We are using various methods to accomplish this including running hoses from hydrants and water trucks. Although unconventional, these methods will enable us to deliver water sufficiently till the next irrigation run the week of July 20.
The anticipated schedule is as follows:
• Robson and Grand north of University will receive water Thursday and Friday
• Date and 1st Ave area will receive water Thursday
• 1st Ave and Sirrine area will receive water Friday
• Center to Morris and Main to University will receive water Friday
Adjustments to this schedule may be required as we work to get irrigation water delivered. We will keep you informed of any changes. Your patience and understanding in this unusual situation is truly appreciated. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact (480) 644-5191 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The City irrigates the following parks:
We also irrigate the following schools:
- Franklin West
- Queen of Peace Catholic School
