Live Rescue Demo:
Mesa Lifeguards and Mesa Fire and Medical's EMS team are doing a live mock rescue demonstration to help educate the public about water safety and life-saving procedures. A script will be read aloud in English and in Spanish as the mock rescue happens where we will explain exactly what is happening with each part of the rescue. The lifeguards will perform a rescue, pull someone out of the water, administer CPR and an AED with a CPR dummy and then EMS will come and take over care. The lifeguards and the Mesa Fire and Medical EMS will be available for questions about CPR and emergency protocols after the demonstration.
