This beautiful 58-acre parcel of native desert uplands is located at the northeast corner of McKellips and Ellsworth Roads with the entrance just off the access drive to Zaharis Elementary School. Desert Arroyo Park takes full advantage of the site’s natural desert landscape with a passive park focusing on experiencing the native desert. The existing desert landscape has been enhanced to develop an interpretive educational experience. There is a looped trail system and an outdoor desert classroom for environmental education.
