Forensic Services Support

The Forensic Services Support staff is comprised of two units, the Administrative Business Unit and the Forensic Services Laboratory Technician Unit. The Administrative Business Unit is comprised of Program Assistants who provide comprehensive management of the laboratory’s administrative functions.  Their responsibilities include processing all documentation for forensic examinations, coordinating and preparing materials for court proceedings, and procurement of critical supplies and equipment to ensure continuous and efficient laboratory operations.  The Forensic Services Laboratory Technician Unit assists the technical units of the forensic laboratory in a multitude of ways, such as performing evidence transfers, preparing evidence items for external examination, managing the maintenance and inventory of the laboratory, and ensuring a safe working environment. Forensic Services Support staff ensures the proper and efficient operation of the laboratory.

 

 

Members of the Administrative Business Unit perform a myriad of administrative tasks in support of every laboratory unit.
