The Emergency Rehabilitation Program provides assistance through a grant offered through Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding to address household repairs that affect the immediate livability of the home. Repairs are limited, and assistance is based on the priority of emergency. The current maximum grant is $20,000 per household per year.
Applicants are limited to receiving assistance once per fiscal year under this program. Individuals who have already been awarded assistance during the current fiscal year are not eligible to receive additional assistance until the beginning of the next fiscal year. The level of assistance is limited solely to the amount required to address the specific emergency.
