All fees due to the City of Mesa for licenses, permits, and development applications are paid through the DIMES ePermit online portal or in person at a Mesa facility. Launch your engineering career with Mesa's paid Engineering Student Internship Program. Undergraduate students pursuing degrees in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields gain hands-on experience in engineering design, CAD drafting, construction administration, project management, inspections, and surveying. Eligible applicants must be pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field and have completed at least 40 semester credit hours.
Internships are available for up to one year, with schedules ranging from 20 to 80 hours per week based on project needs. To apply, submit a cover letter, resume, letter of recommendation, and a copy of your school transcripts. Applicants must be able to pass a background check.
